During Numeracy we have been learning about weight. We were amazed to watch a feather in box land at the same time as a steel ball in a box. Try this at home with a variety of objects, it is ever so interesting.
Also on Thursday 12th January we played the game of rock, paper, scissors as a warm up to our PE lesson. we reacted positively to losing by staying motivated and congratulating the winners. Ask your child to show you how to play it at home, its great fun!
On Thursday 12th January in RE we were looking at the Jewish festival 'Rosh Hashanah' which is their 'New Year' and is celebrated in September. As part of the festival they eat apples dipped in honey to help them think of the sweet new year ahead. Everyone in the class tried the apple and honey - it was yummy!
